I take it you have tried "Last known good configuration?
Try Safe mode VGA. possibly video display problem. loads default VGA
Run System Restore
If not, try Safe Mode w/command prompt No GUI here.
Run System Restore
At prompt type c:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
