I have a fairly new laptop running windows XP home w/ SP2...Starting
yest....whenever I start my computer now i am unable to click (right of
left) on any desktop shortcuts and I am also unable to click on the
start menu...the taskbar by the clock at the bottom right does not
display any of the usual programs (only the clock and sometimes nothing
at all)....I am only able to open programs through the taskmanager if i
know the correct file name (i.e. firefox.exe..etc)..I am unable to
browse folders, and any folder paths i type into the taskmanager come
up as unfound...in addition, i am also unable to install any
programs..they all get to what seems like 100% before the installer
freezes and fails to give me the "finish" option..PLEASE..the microsoft
website will not help me without me paying 25+ dollars so any and all
help would be deff. appreciated...Thanx in advance
