- Hibernate does not apper as an option in "Turn Off Computer"
- Posted by Semih Pulatoglu on April 5th, 2006
I have Dell Inspiron and XP SP2 installed. I had a harddisk problem and
loaded the system from CDs. Everything is OK but Hibernate function is not
available anymore.
I enabled hibernation function from Control Panel/Power Options...
If I manually hibernate, it works... Or if I use keypad to hibernate, again
it works manually...
But when I select Start Menu/Turn Off Computer, only 3 options are
available: Stand By, Turn Off and Restart....
How can I get "Hibernate" option here back?

Holding down the shift key should show it

That toggles the "Hibernate" button with "Stand by"....
