- Hibernate, XP-PRO, Dell Dimension XPS GEN 3

Hi,
I am runing XP PRO on my Dell XPS machine. each time i send the machine
in to Hibernate mode it goes all the way down and the start right
again.
any ideas why wouldn't the machine stay down? what can be starting it
again?
