Dinesh

In Internet Explorer select Tools, Internet Options, General tab. When
you have made your change are you clicking on Apply and then OK?

In the past I have found changing to Blank Page, Restarting the computer
and then entering the new Home Page can help.

Hope this helps.

hi, sorry i don't have a fix suggestion, but just wanted to say that i also
use IE7 (Windows XP Prof. 2002 SP3) and often when i access the internet,
instead of opening my home page (CNBC), it opens an error page and explains
how i should ensure the advance settings are what they're suggesting and
after checking, each and every time, the settings are always set accordingly.
there are times when it goes directly to my homepage (and by the way, it's
the only page i have it set for). i also have done what gerry suggested and
also what dinesh has done as well, reinstalling IE and nope, nothing gets rid
of it. but like i said, it may happen often and at times, not at all. it's
just something that gets one psychie going.

If you type another web addess in the Web Address Box does it connect or
do you get another Error message? Have you checked to see that you are
Online in Internet Explorer -File, Work Offline should not be ticked.

After I open IE, whether at my homepage or not, it sometimes does takes me to
an error page from the web address bar and the search bar. As of yesterday,
I'm experiencing a blank page when initiating IE and like Dinesh, I've had to
click on my homepage icon and it takes me to my set homepage - and this is
puzzling. I will be doing a reinstallation process today because I messed up
important registry keys. I post it under Help & Support.
thanks for the inquiry.

Fight exposing kids to porn, complain about sites like PCBUTTS 1.COM
that create filth and put it on the web for any kid to see: Just take a
look at some of the FILTH he's created and put on his website:
http://forums.speedguide.net/archive.../t-223485.html all exposed
to children (the link I've include does not directly display his filth).
You can find the same information by googling for 'PCBUTTS1' and
'exposed to kids'.
