How to change the default "save as..." folder and view ?
Posted by Camille Petersen on May 4th, 2006

When I want to save a document or file through the "save as..." menu (e.g. in IntExp)
a dialog window pops up offering me the directory where is should store the download.

Initially this is the folder "My Documents" and the "Thumbnails" view.

How do I change this to e.g. D:\data and "Details view" ?
It must work somehow because on my Win2000 this is possible.

Save something in D:\data. XP remembers the last folder that a file was
saved in.

85. Set Detail View for all Folders Open/Save As
