HI my intternet explorer closes itself down with no error warning or
anything, you can be using 2 or 3 windows and happily borwsing etc and
it just disappears.

Any ideas???

I am usuing the latest IE now but its been doing it for a while even
before i got this version.

Hii there might be many reasons for this happening pls check ur event logs
(type eventvwr.msc in ur start menu > run ) generally its caz of an unstable
java install reinstalling wud fix it. either case check the eventlogs to be
sure. "eventvwr > applications"

Thanks for that, i checked the logs but there done appear to be any
problems with java or internet explorer, other ones yes but not these.

Any further ideas to try?

try reinstalling java runtime and see if it works.
