Here's the deal & I very much hope I explain it right.

I use People Pc. I cannot click links from there start up as it just comes
up blank. Nothing what so ever loads. I can open IE separately and browse and
use the net unitl I click a link that needs to open new window. When that
window opens it is blank and nothing loads. Acts like it is working but never
loads never shows a address or anything. Please help. I had to install
another browser just to be able to get full use of the net. I would howevel
like to be able to use IE. Thanks.

are you on SP2?

If you are not sure, try from dos Prompt type
winver
does the popup says something Service Pack 2 in the line following Microsoft
@ windows?


If so, go back and check the IE when you click a link that should open a new
window. Is there a yellow bar of something below the address bar. that is
the pop up blocker at work preventing some site popping up all sort of
unwelcome pesky ads and junk over or under the current window.

assuming you do want the legitimate new window, click on the yellow bar and
choose your option to allow...
