- Invisible Windows
- Posted by Luca Diana on December 8th, 2005
All of a sudden yesterday my Windows XP Home Ed. decided that all windows
when opened will be put outside of the visible screen, either they are
minimized and useless in the task bar or maximized and out of reach. I tried
to maximize, and right click on their task bar icon choosing "size" then
using the cursor keys to resize within the screen borders but only worked on
few of them (btw, Microsoft really needs to update this medieval function).
Do I have to find the corresponding registry entry for each of the programs
and figure out how to set coordinates within the screen? Oh, I also tried
changing screen resolution: nada.
Thanks for your kind help,
Luca

Try this.
Right click Taskbar | Cascade Windows | Close each window with the Close [X]
in the upper right hand corner instead of File\Exit

Hope this helps. Let us know.
