I keep getting black screen crashes/system restarts and blue screens of
death when I visit certain websites, eBay being a major one. When I look in
Event Viewer it tells me I suffered a Mouse Buffer Ring Overflow.....so I
tried all sorts, reloading mouse drivers, trying native windows drivers,
nothing helped. Then I noticed that when it happens, Java Runtime was
kicking in....like on eBay, the selling console is a JAVA window. I
uninstalled Java Runtime, and the problem went away. But the thing is I want
Java on, it makes some sites better, including eBay which I use a
lot.....I've tried reinstalling Java and the problem comes back. Shall I try
a non IE browser.....Firefox or something? I'm no PC pro, but confident with
advice given in Layman's terms, and I would very much appreciate help with
this. Thanks.
