Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse
Posted by Litespeed on October 16th, 2005

Recently the pointer sometimes does not move or moves eradically, not always,
but only sometimes. I push reset on the receiver and reset on the bottom of
the
mouse.........sometimes this will work, sometimes not. I have emailed
logitech, but they have not got back with me yet. Does anyone have a
solution? The mouse is
about 2 months old and I have never had a problem with it before....Thanks.

I have the same mouse. Clean the area on the bottom of the mouse where the
laser is located. It gets loaded with fuzz and dirt from the mousing surface
and severely impacts the performance of the mouse. A can of compressed air
works fine.

Radio Shack or a well stocked electronics store.
