Message appears when I try to open saying portions are either missing or
weren't properly installed. I've tried to reinstall to no avail. All other
McAfee programs running properly, can you HELP, because Microsoft is
diverting me.

Have you tried contacting McAfee support regarding this matter?
My personal opinion is that McAfee is second only to Norton in terms
of being an undesirable product.

McAfee is ok but, eats up alot of system resource. Norton is very bad. My
favorite is Bit Defender Pro. NOD32 is okay but, also eats up Resourses
