- Microsoft Baseline Security Analyser
- Posted by M and D on December 17th, 2005
I just ran the MS Baseline Security Analyser 2.0 on my Windows XP Home Edition computer. I'm glad to say my computer passed with flying colors, except for one item.
The MBSA reported "Windows Firewall is disabled and has exceptions configured," which is sort of true, because I have Zone Alarm as my firewall. The Windows Security Center recognizes this and says so: "Zone Alarm Security Suite Firewall is ON".
So if the Security Center recognizes that I have a firewall, why doesn't the MBSA?
