Microsoft USB Flash Drive Manager -- Won't Install
Posted by Dyre Straits on October 13th, 2005

I downloaded the above titled program from Microsoft. When I
attempted to install it, it popped up a window saying that I need
.NET Framework 1.1 installed for it to continue.

I have .NET Framework 2.0 beta installed and then patched with the
newer patch.

Any ideas how to get the program to install? (Other than reverting to
.NET 1.1?)

Seems someone overlooked a little matter of version detection.

You also need the Visual J# .Net Redistributable package.
