My computer's monitor will not display the screen past the Windows XP load-up
screen. I think the display settings I chose were saved after I started a
game. As I was loading a game, I changed my resolution from 800x600 to an
unknown resolution, as my computer froze right after I clicked the new
resolution. I was meaning to click 1024x768, but that was not it. Since my
screen was frozen, I disconnected the power from my computer and rebooted.
The BIOS and Windows XP load-up screens displayed, but my account selection
screen will not display. My monitor is on and seems to be showing that it is
fully connected to the computer. What I need to do is somehow get into the
administrator account and change the display settings, I think. I also
rebooted in Safe Mode, but when I clicked on my account on the account
selection screen, the computer restarted itself for some reason.
