I just built a new system with Serial ATA drives. I am Not using the raid
feature on the MoBo. I have tried to use win XP as the formatting Disc so
that I am using the NTFS. 1. It wont go past the blue windows screen. 2 I
tried the old way with having 98 forat the disks the running setup when I
do I get this MS-Dos DUMP Fault. WHY ????????????

You need to install the Serial ATA drivers. WIndows 98 does not have them
nor I do not believe that Serial ATA drivers exist in Windows 98.
