I have had messenger for a while, and then fairly quickly it has stopped my
self recieving all but three contacts messeges. They arent blocked,
andoffline they have all said that they are trying to talk to me. It appears
to do the same on another Windows XP of mine and also a Windows ME. Im not
sure if it is a problem with msn or with all of the computers as thier
settings are relitavely similar and are connected through a BT Wireless LAN.

I have contacted Microsoft but they really are useless, thay have asked me
to reinstall msn, use a microsoft spyware removal tool which doesnt work on
the Windows ME computer, but when i did a full scan on one of the computers
it did seem to work for about 1/2 an hr and then gave in again.

In their second email they have told me to remove all the Msnmsgr.exe files
from the Norton Personal Firewall program, Manual Program Control List as
Norton is run on all systems. This hasnt worked either so now they have just
hid in a corner and refused to respond to my emails.

Any suggestions?
