I recently added a new monitor to my emachines tower PC. At first it worked
fine, aside from the colors being way off on the display. I tried to adjust
using NVidia, but I somehow wiped out the display capabilities entirely, and
now only get a black screen. I've tried to open it in Safe Mode, and every
other way, but I'm still not getting anything but black on the screen. Can
anyone assist me with this problem? I can't do any changes to the display
because I can't see anything. Please help! This computer is only a couple
of years old, and I've never had this problem before. Do I need a new video
card, possibly? Or should I take it in to be fixed?
Thanks,
Dona

do you have a green light on the monitor ? it could be the viedo card or the
monitor if you have the old monitor plug it in and test.
