- not just a scrolling problem
- Posted by leaf on October 26th, 2005
lately, my computer will randomly, on it's own scroll up to the top of web
pages as well as move to cursor back to the beginning of the sentence i'm
trying to type. the scrolling happens whether or not i use my mouse or hit
the down button on my keyboard. it does it not only on webpages but on my
desktop (where it scrolls up to the first icon) and any drop down menu online
or not (where it will keep selecting the first item). right now i need to
have the right arrow constantly pressed so i can type this. any ideas? i
already cleaned my computer of spyware and viruses. thanks

If you have text services enabled and the microphone is active/not muted,
you can unexpected mouse movements. Either mute the microphone or, if not
needed, disable text services.

Try replacing the mouse or keyboard.
