I use Win XP Home Edition V6.0 SP2
I occasionally receive update reminder on Java Update:
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0
1.5.0_06-b05
Is it safe to download above?

Yes the latest version on Java is 1.5.0_06. I've had installed for some
time, and yes it is safe to download and install.

Be carefull cause there was something going around that i ran into last year.
On website came and said to install Java update and i found out that the
numbers it said weren't real. Seams there was a virus or trojan going arond
that was tricking people into loading it. If you ever fell it might be false
just go to suns web site and pick the download from there.
