I know this is off topic here but there is no Norton NG and there a lot of
smart people here.

Does anyone know the name of the Norton Anti-Virus file that holds the
setup, exceptions, block rules that I manually enter? I would like to
include this file when I do a backup.

Thanks.

Thank you Rick. I tried searching through their support files but got
nowhere. I even called customer service but they told me I shouldn't be
messing with their files and would not tell me.

Yes I do have exceptions and block rules in my copy of Norton AV 2005.

Well, if my HD crashed the files are on it. I want to back it (them) up off
of the HD.

Well if they ARE being backed up where are they being backed up to? They
certainly are not being backed up to my ZIP drive where I want them.

I am not doing a 100% system backup. I am only backing up preference files
and data files. I have program files on the disks they came on when I
purchased the program. Backing up program files would be a waste of time
and space.
