- Offline Files - Network folder is cleared out?
- Posted by Harkin on November 30th, 2005
I have enabled offline files and here is the result. The users My Documents
folder is located on a file server and mapped as H:\. When the user logs off
of the machine the files are copied locally. The strange thing is that the
network folder is emptied. When the user logs back on, the files are put
back. I have never noticed this happen before, and it is a terrible idea to
have the only copy local on the laptop. The sync process should just copy
the files locally and then sync them back up with the copies that are on the
network share when the user comes back online, correct?
