- "OK" not highlighted in dialog
- Posted by Jacques Villeneuve on September 30th, 2005
Help please!
XP Home edition
I'm trying to launch a newly installed application which requires a
validation code, but the "OK" is not highlighted and cannot be accessed in
the dialog box.
I had the same problem with a different application last week and thought
the application was the culprit. It seems not...
Any sugestions?
Thanks

In my experience, this is typically because the code that was entered is not
the correct format. Many software makers disable the OK button until a code
of the correct length and/or format is entered. Double-check the code you are
entering and check the manufacturers website for more information.

It's a good thought, but sadly not the answer. Every programme with a
similar dialog is suddenly showing the same problem.
Thanks anyway
