- Only the new items saved

When I reboot, only the new items saved in E:\\My Documents are saved…the
items saved in other locations/folders, like C:\\:Program Files, are lost.
My operating system is Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2.
I asked a similar question before now and was told: “File » Save As”. The
only problem, I do not have “Save As” under my File menu – or any other menu
in Windows Explorer or any other file manager.
How would ALL items be saved, no matter where they are located?
Thank you,
Barry Karas
