- Opening Folders in Same Window
- Posted by wallace on October 9th, 2005
In the past week my Windows Explorer started acting really strange. At first
it was opening a search every time that I double clicked ona folder, but I
changed the folder options so that it would just open it, but the checkbox
for "Browse in same window" was not active. Now if I want to open a folder
deep in the file ssytem I end up with ten windows open, how do I change it so
that a double click will open a folder in the same window?

cmd -> regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
Now that the search feature was unlocked I was able to find the answer.
