When I start Nero I get the following message presumably from XP. (Started
about a week ago but I cannot tie it to any particular event)

Tech info.

Error report e8cd_appcompat.txt. ( This file is quite large and
uninteligible to me )

Clicking debug cause the program to close.

I am running XP Pro+SP2 all patches installed.

sfc /scannow run to no effect.

All Nero updates re-installed and rebooted. No change.

Kindly advise there is fix for this problem which has only appeared over
the
last week. I have been using Nero successfully for about 3 years.

have you tried a full removal and re-install from scratch.
if you have incd installed and don't use it try removing that first though.
