When using certain websites such as ebay it is fine getting on to the site
but when i click on of the links i keep getting the above message. It is only
on certain sites but is driving me mad. Anyone with any ideas how to get
round this?

Your problem probably relates to settings in your Firewall or settings
in Internet Explorer -Tools, Internet Options, Privacy.

What Firewall are you using?

If the problem is Internet Explorer make sure it is set to the Medium level
of
Security. Then if you are still encountering problems look to make
individual
sites an exception.

Thanks for that i gave it a try but still no luck. I am using Norton internet
security and wondering if this may be a part of the problem?

Look in the Event Logs for the Personal Firewall. My problems were when
one page referred to another site. You should be able to get the blocked
web address.

I have dumped Norton Anti-Virus in favour of AVG 7 ( freeware )
and Norton Personal Firewall for the Windows Firewall. A change
definitely helps with your system performance. Lower overheads.
