PC Card slot and 2GB SD Memory Card
Posted by Annette Dittywop D on December 28th, 2007

I am trying to utilize the PC card slot to save music to a SD Memory card. I
am using a SANDISK PCMCIA 6-in-1 adapter and a SANDISK 2GB SD Memory card.
Windows will not format the disk. It says it is an "invalid media or track 0
bad - disk unusable". This is the 5th memory card I have tried, including
trying to use a 256mb memory card.

Any suggestions?

If it is this adaptor
http://www.sandisk.com/Products/Prod...o.aspx?ID=1140 there are
limitations in capacity depending what type of memory you are using.

Any suggestions.

Sorry I don't really have any other suggestions. I guess from what you said
the 256Mb card was also a SD card. I noticed the supported size varies
depending on what type of card you use. (ref the link)
Could there be some restriction due to the PCMCIA slot perhaps.?

Sorry I can't offer any other advice.
