- Power management

I am running XP SP1.
I can not get the powermanagement option to run. I have it set to turn off
monitor after 30 minutes and never turn off hard drive when pluged in and
turn off monitor after 5t minutes and hard disks after 30 minutes when
running on battteries.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Are you using a laser mouse? The laser may be causing small movements of the
cursor which will interrupt the Power Management timers. For troubleshooting
this, try another mouse or unplugging the mouse if you are using an USB
connection.
