- problem with using Partition Magic
- Posted by KW on December 31st, 2005
I tried to run Partion Magic 8.0 on my PC (running XP) to merge two
partitons, but I did not have any luck. When I launched Partion Magic
8.0, it only displayed "error #117 drive letters cannot be identified".
Could any expert in this group shed some light on this? Thank you very much.

I found this in Symantec technical support:
Error 117: "Partition's drive letter cannot be identified"
