problems after installing service pack 2
Posted by Calypso on February 7th, 2006

Hi. My computer automatically installed SP2 recently. Since then I have
experienced a number of problems including an inability to print. I have
tried re-installing the printer but that makes no difference and the printer
is working fine and works on other computers. Also when I click on "my
computer" all I get is the torch symbol - the computer is unable to find any
componants using this method. This probem is similar to another problem when
I try to insert things such as photos etc into documents or emails, the
computer freezes when I use the browse function. I have tried uninstalling
the SP2 update, but am still experiencing these problems. Is anyone aware of
anything else I can do to get my computer working again?
