Twice I have gone to different websites, and, a popup appears, saying,
"Microsoft Internet Explorer", it shows a caution sign with an exclamation
sign and beside it shows the number "1", then at bottom, you click "ok".
What is this, please?

Most likley this is a spyware/adware application that is installed on your
PC. You should scan your computer.
