I reinstalled WIndows XP Pro on my PC. Before doing so I ran Files and
Settings Transfer wizard. It appeared to go well (I didn't check closely to
see exactly what files were placed on my removable hard drive).

Once Win XP Pro and all MS UPdates installed successfully, I tried to
restore files and settings without success. I received message "specified
location did not contain stored informatiion". When I looked again, I had a
USMT2.UNC folder with IMG0001.dat, IMG00002.dat files and a status file that
contained "4MSU...".

Any ideas or should I consider the data lost?
