- recycle bin icon

I installed some alienware theme and it changed my icons. well i didnt like
it so i changed it back to the one i had before and then uninstalled the
theme. The thing is i can not change the recyle bin icon back to what it was
before. I have tried doing the customize desktop and all..should i just do a
system restore or is there something else i can do?

Why can't you change it in Customize Desktop?
The Recycle Bin icons are in C:\WINDOWS\System32\shell32.dll

normal one it will change..but when i want to change it to the default one.
it wont change. its shows in that screen that it is. but when i get back
onto the desktop it hasnt changed to the default.

Download Tweak UI from Microsoft:

And then go to Repair > Rebuild Icons
