saving audio settings

"C-media 3D audio configuration (Ver.1.0.43.5)" program wont save my audio
settings. So every time i restart my computer I have to reconfigure the
settings other wise I wont have sound. The problem is under the "main
setting" tab where i allocate each rear panel jack to a speaker. I can
configure every thing fine and it works perfectly but every time i restart
the computer i have to go through the process of speaker allocation again.
It's just a nuisance.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
