I have had a steadily increasing problem with my explorer folders which have
gotten crippling to my system nowadays.

Whenever I chose to open a folder, or just select 'my computer' the screen
will blank down to destop (icons cleared also) and refresh to a completly
clear screen ie. no open folders.

In other words, I am shut out of explorer. I have had to browse to
appications through the 'run...' accessory. Before this handicap, it might
have occured once when opening a folder, though it always worked the second
time I tried it.

I have done a full virus and spyware scan and it turned up nothing.

Could I have some support on what is going on please?
