- Security Center- Please Help!

I have a Dell Inspiron 2200 notebook. When I went into the Control
Panel to see my security settings, the message read that the service
was not available because either it had not been activated, or it was
shut off.
My question is this: How do I turn on the Security Center? What do I
click on to activate it? I have tried to "Google" it up to no advail. I
know very little about computers, so feel free to talk down to me.
Do not reply by email. The addy shown is not in service.

I'm not sure but the case maybe this, as you have a Dell PC they come
pre-installed with McAfee, make sure that McAfee does not disabled the
Windows XP Secuirity center in favour of its own.

Start > Run and type in "cmd" without the quotes. In the new screen type
in:
net start wscsvc
