- Sending Faxes without cover page
- Posted by lkindle on January 30th, 2006
I was wondering if there is a way to send a fax from Windows XP without
having a cover page sent with it. I complete work for a local dance studio
and fax it to them. They are being charged for the cover sheet as well as the
document. They have asked me not to send the cover sheet. Most of my
documents are created in Word or Page Maker. I cannot seem to find a way to
disenable the cover sheet. Can anyone Help me? Thanks a bunch.

When using the FAX utility built into XP I "print" from a document to the
FAX printer, which opens the wizard.
After inputting the name and phone #, and clicking NEXT, the cover sheet
page appears.
I UNcheck the "select a cover sheet" box, then click NEXT.
That eliminates the cover sheet.
