Service Pack 2
Posted by CSTAP03 on March 2nd, 2006

Hello,

I currently have Windows XP Professional 5.1. We have always used Netscape
because our local IP advised us to when we first signed up. Now I have to
take a correspondence course for work and use IE. I was advised by the tech
support guy that I need to get Service Pack 2 in order to take tests. Will
there be any harm in installing Service Pack 2 on my computer?

Thanks,

Stap

Service Pack 2 is a major critical update released
in August 2004. You should install it at your

Later this year your system wont be supported by Microsoft (updates etc)
unless you get SP2. Believe me, it's better.
