- Service pack 2 installed, my comp will not start windows
- Posted by davey_g on February 8th, 2006
I have recently installed service pack 2 for XP on another machine i own, and
now it is installed, the computer will not start windows in any way. It will
not start in safe mode, or any other mode when i press F8 when starting the
machine, the computer seems to be totally useless now, Is there anyway of
reverting back to service pack 1 prior to the logon screen?
Please help!
A very frustrated user

Before installing SP-2, make sure the computer is ready:
