Does anyone know what this is? I found "software distribution serrvice 2.0"
listed in system restore . I have no idea what this is. I did not download
it.

It's a restore point created before an update to Windows or
Office was installed. Try the following, go to Windows Update
and select "Review your update history" in the left hand
column. Note the dates of the latest installed updates and see
if they match up with the dates listed in System Restore for
"Software Distribution Service 2.0".
