standby/hibernation problem
Posted by MsNil on November 13th, 2005

U am running Windows XP with all updates installed. My laptop fails to go
into standby or hibernation. I get an error message that the keyboard device
manager prevented the computer from going into standby. I have read
references to Adobe Font Manager causing this error, but I do not have that
program installed. I have read references to other such programs whose
driver has attached to the keyboard driver, but I cannot figure out what
driver that might be. I had not installed any new programs prior to the
problem beginning. I am hoping that someone might be able to help me.

Did you find an answer to this problem. I also have this problem and can not
figure out how to get my computer to go into standby. I get the same error
message.

No, I never got a response. I have done extensive research online regarding
this problem, but have not found the driver that is causing this.
