i get this pop up every time my computer starts up...

"insert the 'status' disk and click ok

any ideas

Remove the install with this:
290301 - Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility:

The Quick way to remove this window is CRTL+ALT+DEL.
Under Programs Select END NOW.
I contacted MS about this problem.
They Told Me That when installing MSN products over Conterfeit Software is
one of the reasons this problem pops up.
Yes, I did try this with my Conterfeit copy of XP PRO.
What can I say...... now I paid for it
ps: THE UPDATES STILL WILL NOT LOAD even when SP2 installed.

If you have any HP printing unit (printer or combo: print-copy-scan) is
possible, that installation of HP Status Monitor is incorrect, try
reinstall unit software. Recommended full uninstall and cleen install
of unit software.
