I have had the little gold update shield in my system tray for over 2 weeks,
saying new updates are ready to install. I have clicked on it at least 15
times to install it, it goes thru the motions, says it installed, then about
1 minute later, the shield is back with the same update.

Any ideas what the problem may be?

And then it intalls, and I get this:

Initializing installation... done!

2 (KB936181) (update 1 of 1)


Then literally 10 seconds later, the shield is back saying I need to install
the same update. Over and over.

Check in add/remove if indeed it is installed. If so, check 'do not show
this update again'.
