- What happened to Netwatch??
- Posted by Roger on January 21st, 2006
This was a handy little program under WIN 98. I cannot find it under XP.
Has it been replaced with something new? If not what can I use in Its place.

Hi RogerJ,
Right-click on My Computer, select Manage, expand (if collapsed) System
Tools, then double-click on Shared Folders. You can view information
regarding Shares, Sessions and Open Files.

Thanks, I tried it. This seems to show me the files I have shared, but not
who's using them, like NetWatch did.

The information in the Sessions folder displays the User(s) connected and
using the files.

No, Netwatch doesn't work in WINXP if copied from WIN98.
