who can I uninstall sp2 from install on a sp2 disk?
Posted by danballa on December 1st, 2005

I am sick of xp2. I keep freezing, crashing, etc. I know it involves my
network card, but can't fix it. Everything is fine on my SP1 computer, so I
know the card works fine.
SP2 came on a Win Home XP SP2 disk, so I don't have the usuall add/remove
options. Can I get rid of SP2 when it is loaded on the XP disk? Any help
would be great.

THanks

You'll need to purchase a version of Windows XP that doesn't have SP 2 and
do a clean install.

Wouldn't it be easier to buy an SP 2-compatible network card? NICs are real
cheap.
