- win xp update ruins flash player...
- Posted by halfofbob on April 17th, 2006
i was wondering if anybody knew which one of the windows updates is
responsible for making you click on a flash movie to start playing it
in your browser? i'm not worried about accidentally clicking on flash
ads, which is most likely what this update was designed to address. i
recently deleted this update from my laptop by uninstall thru
add/remove programs (showing uydates). now i'm having the error on my
other pc. i know it can be fixed by simply uninstalling the update.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHICH WINDOWS SECURITY UPDATE (EXAMPLE - WINDOWS XP
HOTFIX KB885835) IS RESPONSIBLE FOR NOT ALLOWING FLASH MOVIES TO
AUTOMATICALLY START PLAYING?
thanks for the help!
