- windows firewall settings
- Posted by Kristie on April 13th, 2006
Hi, there...
I'm having trouble configuring my windows firewall settings. When I click
on Windows Firewall under control panel, it says "Windows Firewall cannot be
displayed because the associated service is not running." Then when I click
"yes" to start the service, it says that Windows cannot run the program.
Does anyone know what I should do? It doesn't give me any other options
after that.
Thanks, Kristie

Kristie,
Click Start, Run and type: Services.msc
Double-click "Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)" and set it
to Automatic
Start the service.
