Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type %windir%\windowsupdate.log

Scroll down towards the bottom for the latest entries to locate the error code(s)

OK I open the update log and noticed the mention
Ee Hndlr FATAL MSI.DLL version 3.0 version 3.1 is required.
I made a research and find in
C:\windows\sytem32 msi.dll version file 3.0.3790.2180 2.67 MB
C:\windows\software distribution msi.dll version file 3.1.4000.2435 2.75 MB
Out of that every time I install the update from differnt Microsoft sites I
have at the end a warning to tell me that the update was not installed.
Thanks for your help

Did you try manually downloading the latest installer and installing it?
