Windows Sliding Down
Posted by martymkm@webtv.net on November 17th, 2005

My Grandson was on my pc over the week-end and now when I close out a
window it doesn't act like it used to. It did just fade out (fast). Now
it slides down, just like pulling down a window shade in your living
room.
I know it's simply in a setting somewhere, but for the life of me I
can't find it. Google is of no help (35,000 hits but nothing close to my
problem). I asked him what he did and got the typical teen answer "I
dunno". Could someone please tell me where I can adjust this? Thanks!

Try running System Restore and roll-back to before your Grandson used the
pc.

Thanks for the response, but I updated and installed a few things since
that happened and figured it woud be much easier to simpy change the
setting back...

Yes, that should be easier and safer than going back to a restore point.
Try right-clicking on the desktop and investigating the options there.
I'm not currently running XP so I can't check.

Cheers,
